Long before backyard BBQ competitions, pellet grills, and social media recipes, there was one smell that brought Americans together better than almost anything do else:
Apple pie cooling on the windowsill.
It was the smell of hard work finally slowing down for the evening. The smell of summer cookouts, county fairs, Fourth of July gatherings, and family packed shoulder-to-shoulder around old picnic tables. It was comfort. Tradition. Home.
That’s where The American Apple Pie Rub was born.
At The Liberty Rub Co., we wanted to create more than another sweet BBQ seasoning. We wanted a flavor that told a story — one rooted in smoke, fire, and Americana.
So we took inspiration from the most iconic American dessert ever made and forged it into something built for the pit.
